Free Company - Norse!

Okay so it's time to turn the things I've been collecting from Duties and exchanging them for real things I need that I don't want to pay for... like Cordials and Ventures and Dark Matter...

As you've probably noticed from my other screenshots of my characters, I have my crafters up pretty high... I did this, not only so I can make things when I need them, but also so I can FIX what I have on.  One of the most annoying things I can complain about on FF14 is that they created that need to 'repair' armor and weapons... Sure it's realistic but when you're in the middle of a Duty that you've just waited forever for... the last thing you want to see is "Your bracelet is 10%" I'm like, no way! Come on!!  But now thanks to having everyone up so high, all I need is some dark matter and ta-da all fixed!!!

So did all that trading in....

Now to collect on my Free Company and get some more action to use for me and my companions...

My Free Company (as you can plainly see) is called Einherjar... and our little logo attached to the name is Norse..

At first, when I joined and paid for my first 6 months to play, I was bombarded with people asking me to join their Free Companies, all day long I got the messages, one day I just hit accept, by a simply fluke, it was this group.  I had no idea who they were or what they stood for, I just wanted to stop the messages lol

I remember the people were excited, was their '4th' member which made them finally 'opened' so they were all excited to get our group going... well 3 months down the line and suddenly they stopped coming online themselves... all but 1 of them... Caitsith was his name, he seemed pretty cool but together, by running duties and fates, we single handedly brought our FC to a Level 8!

I was super psyched myself, I loved our name, I was (and still am) really into the Epic Rap Battles of History and this so reminded me of their Thor vs Zesus one.  I even changed our welcome phrase to "We don't get Nice we get Norse! Norse!" one of my favorite lines!

...and then Heavensword was released... Caitsith told me he was going to be getting it on a different platform and then found out... he couldn't move his character from the PC to the PS4...

He then just self promoted me to the leader of the group and said it'd be better that way in case we had new members as I looked experienced and he looked like a Noob (even though he was no where near being a Noob) Well, that's just never changed from there, I've always been the leader since and he's my right hand man and together we just help ourselves...

Occasionally we do go out seeking members but with so little attention being drawn to the Free Companies, most people just join a group and then leave and never come back to the world of Final Fantasy.. that's why when you look at the groups out there it might say they have 100 people, but only 2 are online...

In Final Fantasy XIV, Square has promised to increase not only Free Company things, but also city alliance rankings, going beyond the 2nd lieutenant (about time!). So for now, until that 3.4 patch is released, we will just gain things for ourselves... and as you can see, I'm buying some new actions for me and my group... occasionally I'll get some items for our little house in The Goblet as well, our favorite little hide away that Caitsith and I, once again both single handedly saved up for and went out and got for our little group.  Not many can say they have a house, they're hard to get! And expensive to boot!

Well, now onto looking pretty in Ul'dah.  Ah the fireworks and pretty bomb glowing... things...
