Fallout 4 - Find your AI Characters on the PS4 - Including Nick Valentine!!

Okay, if you guys haven't seen my first few posts here, then I'll update you...

My husband and I have had the hardest time trying to find Nick Valentine on Fallout 4 and haven't found a solution.. being on a Playstation 4 makes it especially difficult because we don't have access to any Mods like the PC and the XBox One have been allowed to have...

But there is a solution!! With the Vault Tec expansion where you can make Vault 88 comes a special little item called - "Vault-Tec Population Management System"

I was saw this and had no idea what it was, but I placed it because it looked cool and decided to hook it up and explore this little monitor... what I found was when I clicked on tracking the "VIPs" it loaded up a full list of all the AI's in the game!!!

I cannot tell you how excited I was!  I clicked on Nick Valentine and it started a quest up, I loaded my map and BAM, there he is, right on the map!!  Right above Big John's Garage!!

Unfortunately for my husband, when he went there, Nick STILL wasn't there, we checked up down and all around and have no idea where he is, but I found him safe and sound walking around, woot woot!!

So if you have this expansion and have trouble finding an AI Character in Fallout 4, hook this up and check it out and watch it work for you!

Fallout 4 - Vault 88 - Build your OWN society underground!

I have all the expansions to Fallout 4 but this one is by far my favorite...

I love making the little towns, but the problem is the stuff is always 'dirty' and you have a limit to how much you can have... now don't get me wrong, there's a limit to the Vault 88 too, but it's so high that I haven't hit it yet!

The quests are kind of funny... watching Clem blow up on the bike is always a treat but I'll tell you all a hint...

When doing the Experiments, there IS a cost and a gain for each choice so it pays to read up on every one of them!!

In the end, if you're looking for a medium good and bad, the 2nd choice on EACH of them is the 'right' choice...

All of 'Ted's' Experiments (3rd Choice) make society happy, but costs your vault something fierce, especially the gambling one as it'll drain your finances quickly!

All of Dr. Braun's Experiments (1st Choice) make society mad, but benefits the vault immensely...

But there is another thing you can get from choosing the 2nd choices, extra bonuses to your endurance and luck etc... which I can't pass up so I chose all the 2nd choices for myself!!

And then built my vault... and then discovered something new... that would help me find all the AI characters!! I'm making a special post for it so stay tuned for that post coming up soon!!

Minecraft - Extra Large Map on Playstation 4

Okay, so this isn't a 'new' map... my husband and I have been working on this map for a considerable amount of time... in fact, when we first started Minecraft together with this map, we had no idea how big it was!  I assumed it was just a large map, like the classic maps.. but then my husband started walking.. and walking... and walking... and then we realized it was 25 maps total, 5 x 5 maps!

I was amazed, but my husband left a nice trail of torches behind him to follow back...

but that wasn't enough so I logged into my account and found one of our maps and walked his character back by looking at the map below! Worked out, and I got him back!!

So, again, as you can see, this place isn't 'new' we built a nice landing, hollowed out some land and built up a castle up the side of the other mountain with an underwater glass tunnel.

But my favorite place is underground...  I like to tunnel until I find a pawn of lava and then hollow out around it and keep all the ores out, ready to use my diamond pickaxe with Fortune III and Efficiency IV and Unbreaking III all attached to it...

I have to admit, one of my favorite updates is the one where it doesn't require a 25 to 30 level to be drained upon the creation of one weapon, it used to be so hard to get that back up... now it only costs 3 points!! Yay!!

Off to mining.... and then a few more games while awaiting Final Fantasy XIV's update!

Final Fantasy XIV 3.38 Update Release Date - August 23, 2016

I was surprised to see this update coming but then I read into what it will entail... and got excited!

With this update, people who have been doing the Void and Weeping City will be able to trade in the coins for something 'new' that they'll be able to trade in for Illuminati Gobdip! Yes indeed!!  That means we now can do these raids and trade it in for the upgrade needed to turn our i230 weapons into i240 weapons!!  I'm really excited about this because it's so hard to find groups to do the Savage raids.. at least ones that are understanding.

Being a family person, I don't have 'time' to set up a routine group that can meet all the time to repeat raids, it's just not possible and that's what people are looking for in these party finders.  So I've tried my luck in trying to find a match party and it just never happened.  Sat waiting for almost 2 hours one time and still didn't get 2 people in the waiting list for a group...

So now I'm counting down until the update!! Time to do something else to pass the time and then back to the collecting again next Tuesday!

Finishing Collecting the Lore Tomes - Final Fantasy XIV

Well I started off my Wednesday by flying around then did a regular duty to finish leveling my Marauder to 37 and then back to the big duties, the regular Expert Duty and the Trial (King Thordan) Duty... and then I had 445... 5 more tomes left!  So I decided to run over and do a quick beast quest over in the Dravanian Forelands (worth 5 Lore Tomes!)  And ta-da 450 Lore Tomes in less than 2 days!  No more running Expert trials through the week, easy peasy!

So next... since I have everyone of my classes up to the minimum of 37...  I ran all their individual class quests until I got their Soul Crystals for the next level!!

So now I've got the Bard, the Warrior, the Dragoon, and the Ninja!!


Completing my entire set here!!

So excited now to just move onto straight leveling and I don't feel so behind anymore here...

and then when Thursday poppped around the corner, I collected all my Red Scripts for the day, 9 more Goblin Dice, 2 more upgrades!!  Almost fully complete on my Gatherer's Gear!!

Getting 90% of the Tomes on Tuesday - Final Fantasy XIV

Okay, so this Tuesday I decided to do something I used to do, cram it all into one day...

I started off with the regular duties before 11am...

And then went on to doing the deep dungeons as my paladin...

Now I've done the deep dungeon before all the way up to Floor 50 but you can reset yourself and start again.  It gives a massive amount of Esoteric tomes (which I need for that ultimate weapon upgrade!) and Lore tomes easy!

It can be pretty boring though... so I decided after a few sets of floors to run my duties again as it was 10:45am... unfortunately, as you can see from my chats, my group was determined to try and get it done BEFORE the 11am mark...

Now, doing these runs for months now, I know how long they take, and the quickest I've ever gotten them done is 20minutes, so I knew the 15min mark was impossible.  I didn't want to disappoint but eventually I knew it'd click to them too...

And it did as you can see by the chats...

And then onto the Trial (Shiva!)

So then onto the Void!

And then the Weeping City! 

All done, even got a few poses with some people, it was actually a quite fun and enjoyable group, I wish I could stick with them always!

And then I went back to collecting my Goblin Dice for the week and upgrading my Fieldkeep gear!

Then finished out the Dungeons and ended the day with the nice 355 Lore Tomes... that means 95 left until I'm capped for the week, all in one day!  Fun Fun!!
